We are the 99%. We are all in this together. Occupy Santa Clarita is leaderless, inclusive, resistance movement with people of many colors, genders and political persuasions. The one thing we all have in common is that we are the 99% who will no longer tolerate the greed and corruption of the 1%. We are using the revolutionary Arab Spring tactic to achieve our ends and encourage the use of nonviolence to maximize the safety of all participants.

Who still thinks LOBBIES are for OUR best interests? Did anyone watch the The Daily Show on Monday night? Wyatt Cenac did a hilarious (but disheartening) segment on a bill called H.R. 3472, a proposed bill that would have given discounts on insurance premiums to people who practiced healthier lifestyle choices such as exercising. Who killed the bill? Lobbyists for the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, and other “health” organizations. Their conclusion: “Don’t mess with big cancer!”
